CFBC’S First Annual Giving Programme

The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), formerly called the College of Further Education (CFE) announced its first-ever Giving Programme during Founders’ Week 2021. One of the goals of Founders’ Week was to establish an annual period for giving to the College. This period began on Wednesday, September 29 on the heels of the College’s 33 rd Anniversary and extends until Giving Tuesday, the world’s biggest day of generosity, on November 30, 2021. GivingTuesday is a global day of philanthropy when people around the world celebrate the value of giving back. Establishing a Giving Programme is in line with our Founder’s Week theme, Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, Creating a Sustainable Future. During this period of giving, you have an opportunity to be part of the growth and development of the only indigenous tertiary level institution in St. Kitts and Nevis.

CFBC alumni, students, staff, businesses, parents, friends, professional organizations, nationals at home and abroad, diaspora organizations, donor agencies and philanthropists can make a lasting impact through their giving to the CFBC. While our College has participated in various acts of charitable giving opportunities in the St. Kitts and Nevis community, this is the first time the CFBC has set aside its own giving period dedicated to garnering financial support for its academic and vocational programmes, campus spaces’ upgrade, research and creative discovery.

Philanthropy represents an important financial resource for institutions of higher learning. Since the creation of #Giving Tuesday, colleges and universities have used this day and other designated special day(s) to drive donations to their institutions.
