Divisional Advisory Committees
Each division has an advisory committee consisting of the president, the head of division and persons drawn from the community who are engaged in occupations directly or indirectly related to the programmes offered in the division. The main purpose of the Divisional Advisory Committees is to recommend the introduction of alternative or additional programmes which have relevance to national development trends.
Grades Appeal Committee
The Grades Appeal Committee comprises the registrar who will chair the proceedings, the division head of the student appealing his/her grade(s), a representative from the student body, and two faculty-one from the division of the student in question and one from another division.
Disciplinary Committee
The Disciplinary Committee comprises a chairperson, faculty representing the various divisions of the college, a representative from the student body and the Police Department’s liaison to the college.
Any student who violates college regulations or the Student Code of Conduct is reported to his/her division head who informs the president who, in turn, refers the complaint to the Disciplinary Committee. The Disciplinary Committee then conducts hearings and makes recommendations.
The Disciplinary Committee also deals with student complaints. Complaints should be submitted to the chairperson in writing.
All proceedings of the Disciplinary Committee shall be documented.
