CFBC BULLS PLACE SECOND IN POWERADE AND DASANI INTERSCHOOL NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Basseterre, St. Kitts, 6th December 2024 (CFBC): The CFBC Bulls have secured an impressive second place in the Powerade and Dasani Interschool Netball Championship, capping off a season marked by consistent and commendable performances.
The final, held on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024 at Netball City, saw the Bulls defeated by the SSS (Saddlers Secondary School) Wolves, 30-22, in a keenly contested match filled with excitement and intensity.
Several Bulls players were honoured for their exceptional performances. Zaalyhah Warner, Angelina Liburd, and Ce’Covah Hughes received MVP awards, with Warner also earning the title for the most goals scored in the tournament. Additionally, Joanna Thompson, Tavia Morson, and Danniqua Huggins were named to the All-Star Team.
The Bulls, along with Sports Officer, Shenel Crooke, extend heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Valerie Nisbett for her exceptional coaching throughout the tournament. Her dedication was instrumental in the team’s success.
