It’s official! PHILMON ROBERTS of CFBC is the 2016 State Scholar!
The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has provided the Scholarship Rank Order Listing for St. Kitts and Nevis. The listing is based on candidates’ performance on the 2015 and 2016 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE). Candidates are ranked by the highest number of Grade 1 passes obtained in seven qualifying units and then other criteria in the event of a tie.
The rank order is as follows:
1. PHILMON ROBERTS – CFBC: 10 Grade I passes
2. ORIAN STAPLETON – Nevis Sixth Form College 6 Grade I passes
3. KAMIL WILKIN – Nevis Sixth Form College Six 6 Grade I passes
Philmon offered ten (10) subjects and obtained ten (10) Grade I passes Caribbean Studies, Chemistry Units 1 and 2, Communication Studies, Computer Science Units 1 and 2, Physics Unit 1 and 2, and Pure Mathematics Units 1 and 2.
He also wins the award for the Most Outstanding Performance in Natural Sciences.
