All applicants are required to submit certified copies of the following
documents:
- A valid government issued ID and or birth certificate
- Academic grade slips and/or certificates
Persons who are applying for admission to the Associate Degree in Education in the Division of Teacher Education are required to submit the following additional documents:
- A valid police record
- 2 reference letters
- An essay entitled “Why I desire to be a trained teacher”
Applicants are also required to attend an admission interview.
Persons who are applying for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Education that is franchised from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill) are required to submit the following additional documents:
- Applicant’s Undergraduate or Graduate Degree
- An official academic transcript

Persons who are applying for admission to the Post Basic Midwifery programme are in the Division of Health Sciences are required to submit the following additional documents:
- A valid nursing license
- A valid police record
Applicants are also required to attend an admission interview.
