The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) Board of Governors invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position at the CFBC:

 

TIMBER LECTURER

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Timber and related courses.
• Produce course outlines and review syllabi.
• Set, mark and invigilate coursework and exams.
• Maintain attendance records.
• Enter attendance and grades in the Student Information System

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Applicants must possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in timber technology or an equivalent professional qualification in a related area from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Successful experience in tertiary education, preferably in a two or four-year college, or equivalent record of success in industry and some knowledge of effective teaching and learning processes at the tertiary level will be considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of timber technology, wood science, and related fields
• She/he is expected to practice, advocate and promote the highest standards for scholarship, academic achievement, honesty and professional integrity.
